Ownership & Authority

Open Circle Events is a privately owned and operated event company managed by:

Carol Smith
Jazmine Ramirez (Panther’s Gate Lil Witch)

Open Circle collaborates with community partners and venues. These collaborations do not constitute shared ownership or operational control.

Final decision-making authority regarding event operations, vendor selection, partnerships, and policy enforcement rests with ownership.


Commitment to Inclusion & Safety

Open Circle Events maintains zero tolerance for:

• Racism
• Homophobia
• Transphobia
• Sexism
• Harassment
• Hate speech
• Discrimination of any kind

LGBTQ+ vendors and attendees — including trans and nonbinary individuals — are welcome and safeguarded at all Open Circle events.

Behavior that compromises the safety, dignity, or inclusion of others may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

All enforcement decisions remain at the discretion of ownership.


Professional Conduct Expectations

Vendors and participants agree to:

• Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully
• Represent their business honestly
• Avoid public defamation or character attacks
• Refrain from disruptive or aggressive behavior
• Follow venue safety and operational guidelines

Personal disputes must not disrupt event operations.


Vendor Selection & Participation

• Vendor spaces are curated to maintain event balance and integrity.
• Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
• Selection decisions are made by ownership.
• Repeated violations of standards may affect future participation eligibility.


Conflict Resolution & Reporting

Concerns regarding conduct, safety, or event operations may be submitted in writing to:

Reports will be reviewed by ownership.
Where appropriate, direct communication or mediated discussion may be offered.

Open Circle reserves the right to issue warnings, remove vendors, or terminate participation if standards are violated.

All decisions regarding enforcement remain at the discretion of ownership.


Transparency

• Vendor fees are communicated clearly in advance.
• Optional give-back models are disclosed.
• Partnerships are publicly identified.
• There are no hidden loyalty requirements or informal obligations.

Participation in Open Circle events is voluntary and professional.
