Meet the people behind Green Magick Apothecary!

Jonathan and Carol Smith are a husband and wife team based in Colorado Springs. Jonathan is an Army veteran and Carol is an herbalist with a background in cosmetology. She also worked for several years in the medical cannabis industry where she saw first-hand all of the people who were not finding help for common issues from the pharmaceutical industry.

Jonathan was medically retired by the army at the age of 29, and he spent over 10 years battling severe PTSD and chronic pain and trying to figure out where he fit into the civilian world. 5 years ago, Jonathan began growing medicinal cannabis as a hobby, but has also spent those years helping other veterans learn to grow their own medicine too. Both Jonathan and Carol have met countless veterans and people with chronic pain who were not receiving the help they needed. So as a couple, they both have felt more and more called to intervene to help as many people as possible who may be suffering from treatable pain and ailments.

When a friend was diagnosed with an auto-immune hive disorder that could not be treated due to her allergy to every anti-histamine on the market, Green Magick Apothecary was born. Their first salve for skin irritations was made to fill a need, and was met with success. The same is true for their pain salve, which was made because someone with arthritis in their hands needed relief. People started asking for their salve. LOTS of people.

Jonathan and Carol hope that people can tell that every single can of their salves is made with love and involved countless hours of research. They want people to know that it is hand crafted with only the best ingredients, and are 100% THC and cannabis free.
